Blending history, personal growth, and storytelling.

Being a professional historian has taken me in unexpected directions and to even unlikelier places, culminating in this new path as a fiction author, poet, podcast host, and Certified Human Potential Coach. The study of history allowed me to travel overseas to work in dusty archives reading documents from the era of the world wars, to meet people who lived through those years, and to develop broader and deeper understandings of myself and our own times. My own personal journey and history have challenged me to grow, change, and even rebuild, in ways that I never expected. And yet, it’s also given me gifts beyond measure. I try to make all I write and do interesting, accessible, and relevant. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that viewing the past, present, and ourselves through various “perspectacles” is the best way to illuminate the myths, realities, and potential within the human condition. Oftentimes these reveal themselves as four universal elements that shape each of us and our individual histories (and our Nows): possibility, choice, consequences, and change.

My Novel

Krelle’s Inferno

In 1944, the D-Day landings in Normandy failed. The Second World War eventually ended with the death of Nazi Germany, but the world continues to be ominous and dangerous, devoid of the joy of that should have come with peace. And one man blames himself for all of it.
